  THE GLASS STUDIO

Mischka Alexi Hunter and Mariel Waddell are glass blowers. They own the famous Glass Studio located on Queen Street in Kingston, Ontario. They recently started a new production: by integrating the ashes of deceased people in pieces of glass, they create new possibilities for us to remember and honour our loved ones. In a very beautiful way, a family explains us why they thought this would be a wonderful and original way to remember a dear member of their family.
   






 
  
  QUEEN'S MURAL PAINTING

Kingston Artreach has been created by two talented students: Patrick Orr and Pansee Atta. This charity organization is  interested in developing artistic skills while promoting a culture unique to Kingston. The team gathers creative individuals who learn, collaborate, aspire and grow together, trying to make a better future for their community. In February 2009, Queen's University offered them to work on a mural painting in one of the cafeterias on the campus. We follow their work in progress...

King, a former U.S. Marine, woke up one day at the age of 47 and decided to become a photographer. Since then, he walks every day in the streets of New York City with his digital camera, looking for a face or a situation that will attract his attention. He proclaimed himself  "The King of New York, the most elegant photographer in the world".
